VC Norwich Club Run & Club Rides: Club rides means that the group will ride at the pace of the slowest rider, the group will stop and wait/help in the event of punctures etc, the group will stay together as a group normally until the last couple of miles when some may increase the pace, but new riders are never left alone. Please see the page on Safe Cycling.
VC Norwich Training Rides: Training rides means that the pace will be faster, the group may not always stop if you puncture (especially towards the end of the ride) and you may possibly be dropped if you cannot keep up. Please see the page on Safe Cycling.
VC Norwich Evening Rides: These start on in May and finish in September. Keep an eye on the VCN Calendar and VC Norwich Facebook page for when they start and finish. The length of these rides is dependant upon the amount of day light. Please bring lights just in case. Please see the page on Safe Cycling.
Newcomers: You are very welcome to join us on a ride. If you are new to club riding, then we recommend that you try the Sunday Club Run first. Please see the Guide for Club Ride Newcomers which should answer most of your questions. If you are a newcomer to road cycling you might also consider enrolling with the Norfolk Cycling Academy, their training scheme provides guidance on all aspects of group and competitive riding.
Contact us: If you have any questions about VC Norwich Club Rides, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to answer them.
