VCN Weekend Away

16 Club members enjoyed warm weather and light winds during the VC Norwich Weekend Trip to Bury St Edmunds on 26/27 April 2025.

After dropping off our overnight bags in the support van and splitting into our two groups we headed to The Grain Kitchen, East Harling where bacon rolls and coffee awaited us. Once over the border we took the scenic route through the idyllic Suffolk countryside and pretty villages before arriving at our Premier Inn in the centre of Bury St Edmunds.

In the evening we all convened in the Masons Arms for a well earned drink before walking onto the Old Cannon Brewery for an excellent evening meal (and some more drinks!)   On Sunday after breakfast we headed home, via a cake and coffee stop at Bressenham, arriving back in Norwich mid afternoon.  Thanks to everyone involved for making it a great weekend.
